The Studios nestle at the water' s edge at the base of the secluded picturesque Mistra Bay in the north-east of the island, a short trip down a private track from the main backbone road up the island, a stone's throw from the point where St. Paul was shipwrecked nearly 2000 years ago. The studio is the only residential property on the private bay and is not overlooked - making the complex ideal for the artist who requires security privacy and a low key presence - as well as for those those who simply want to boycott the bustle and concentrate on creating! The swimming, fishing and other water sports this location offers provide a novel alternative to the expected large Pool room and comfortable TV lounge, and the on-site Bar, Restaurant and Trattoria rnean that the cool, marbled studio kitchen becomes a place of leisure rather than labour! Artists awaiting their turn will find that the cosmopolitan attractions of Paceville and Sliema, a short trip down the coast, are close enough to enjoy and appreciate, whilst being sufficiently distant to negate any unwanted distraction this might offer.
